"Short Notice" emerged during the pandemic, a project spearheaded by my then-housemate, Max. Before the pandemic, Max had compiled extensive footage for a snowboard company and its athletes. However, when the company unexpectedly dropped all of their athletes and returned the footage with a brisk farewell, Max saw an opportunity rather than a setback.

Determined to make the most of the situation, Max rallied the team to capture the missing shots needed to produce a highly compelling snowboard movie. Living together at the time and recognizing the project’s potential, I was keen to contribute. I took on the role of animating the graphics designed by Anthony Lemay, as well as the overall graphic package for the movie, adding a dynamic visual layer to the film’s raw and powerful narrative.
