Raph Derome is one of the humblest humans I've ever met, and it took me over two years to realize he’s one of the world’s best wakeboarders—because he simply does it without boasting. More than just an athlete, Raph is an artist and a visionary, always pushing the boundaries of his sport without seeking the spotlight. Recently becoming close friends, Raph and Justin, the director, brought me on board to develop the visual style of this documentary.

Initially a small role, my work quickly expanded to over 80 hours, including animating the graphic package, bringing archival photos to life with subtle motion, and creating information-rich motion designs that helped weave the story together. Working on this film, it was hard to grasp its potential impact, but looking back, it's clear this was one of the most rewarding projects of my early career.
