/ About the project
Orkestra Camp 2018 was an ambitious project that began with a brilliant idea and a team brimming with enthusiasm. The challenge was to create a reality TV web series over a single weekend, producing three episodes with four teams of four participants each, supported by a full camera crew, and myself as the data wrangler.
Despite the high spirits, we embarked on this project with no clear plan for post-production editing or a complete script, focusing instead on the dynamic activities and challenges. Pre-production was an intense two-month journey where an illustrator and I crafted an entire fictional universe to animate short films that introduced the series' challenges and overarching concept.
This endeavor consumed over five months of my life, during which my role expanded to encompass nearly every possible aspect—from directing and motion design to scripting, editing, managing social media, and even unofficially overseeing alcohol consumption. My comprehensive involvement was so extensive that my name appears in nearly every category of the credits, reflecting a journey from the initial concept to the final product.
As the series was renewed for a second season, I had already transitioned to freelance work. However, Orkestra re-engaged my services to create a new motion design that continued the storyline from the end of the first season, ensuring a seamless narrative transition and maintaining the creative momentum we had established.
